About Lifespan Health
Dean Sbragia brings over 40 years of experience in senior management and ownership roles across both public and private sectors. His expertise currently focuses on the rehabilitation and long-term care industries.
Mr. Sbragia is the architect of an innovative healthcare delivery model that bridges traditional healthcare with wellness programming. This model has demonstrated measurable positive outcomes while reducing costs.
As the owner of a healthcare product development company, Mr. Sbragia has authored three patents, with additional applications pending, in the areas of workplace solutions, rehabilitation, and gaming products. He also developed the Total Solutions evidence-based, non-pharmacological program designed to address the comorbidities of aging.
Mr. Sbragia has successfully secured FDA and cFDA approvals for his patented medical devices and has consulted with industry leaders on regulatory processes and product applicability.
He also owns and manages a innovative healthcare model, Lifespan health, which has served as a petri dish of sorts, where he and his employees work with a wide variety of clients on physician referral, including people with Parkinson’s, osteoporosis, sarcopenia, and other comorbidities of aging.
He is an accomplished speaker, having lectured to domestic and international audiences on rehabilitation and fitness programming. His Break Free osteoporosis program was a finalist in the 2015 SBA/Microsoft InnovateHER competition for California. Additionally, he contributed to Fight the Fall: A Woman’s Guide to Osteoporosis, published in 2021. Most recently, in November 2022, he presented “Assessing and Addressing the Effects of Long COVID” at the International Council on Active Aging (ICAA) conference in Orlando, Florida, where attendees earned continuing education units (CEUs). Mr. Sbragia is presenting for CEUs again at the ICAA in October 2025, “Strength for Parkinson’s”.
Recently, he has published a book, available on Amazon and Barnes and Noble “Lifespan Health Certificate Handbook”, which delineates evidence based, physician endorsed programs to address the challenges of aging, non-pharmacologically.
Mr. Sbragia holds multiple certifications from Harvard Business School and is a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) and Certified Montessori Dementia Care Practitioner (CMDCP). He earned his Vestibular Rehabilitation II certification from the American Institute of Balance and has completed certifications in Corporate Governance from UCLA (2018) and Nutrition Science from Stanford University School of Medicine (2019).
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Mr. Sbragia serves as Vice President of the Board for Seeds of Hope Kenya, a nonprofit organization supporting vocational training and housing for street children, and as Vice Chairman of the Hope Clinic for Women, a nonprofit medical clinic, and as council President, for Christ the King Lutheran church.
